Do you store my IP address?
No. The endpoint reads the address from the request, returns it, and keeps nothing. There is no database write and no request log in application data.
Why does this tool need a server at all?
A browser cannot see its own public IP — only the server receiving the request can. This is the one OmniTools tool that requires a network round trip, and it is deliberately minimal.
Is my IP sent to analytics?
Never. Analytics records only that the tool was used, with no address attached.
