Open Graph Preview
Preview how your title, description and image will appear on Facebook, X, LinkedIn and in search results, rendered locally from your own values.
Required. This is the og:title value.
Used only to display the domain.
Must be https, and should be at least 1200 × 630 pixels.
How it works
- Type the title, description and image URL you plan to use.
- Each platform card shows how it would truncate your text.
- Nothing is fetched — the preview is built entirely from what you type.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it read my page’s real tags?
No, and that is deliberate. You supply the metadata and the card is drawn locally. Reading a remote page’s tags from a browser requires a server-side proxy, and a proxy that fetches arbitrary user-supplied URLs is a request-forgery hole aimed at whatever that server can reach. This tool has no proxy and makes no request.
Why does each platform show something different?
They truncate at different lengths and use different aspect ratios. Google cuts a title around 60 characters, X around 70, Facebook around 88, LinkedIn much later. Each preview shows that platform’s truncation and notes its quirks — LinkedIn ignores Twitter card tags entirely, for instance.
My real card looks different. Why?
Almost always caching. Facebook, LinkedIn and X all cache aggressively and will keep showing an old card after you change your tags. Use each platform’s own debugger to force a refresh.
What image should I use?
1200 by 630 pixels over https. An http image is refused by most platforms, and the tool warns about that rather than showing a preview that will not match reality.
